Generated instructions keep one full copy of the reviewer protocol and the context-reading paragraph, in AGENTS.md, because Leerness serves several agents. This holds in standard and minimal mode. CLAUDE.md imports AGENTS.md with an @AGENTS.md line, which Claude Code loads at launch, and keeps the three core rules. The Cursor rule, the Copilot instructions and the session workflow point to AGENTS.md. The protocol had been appended to four files and the paragraph to five, so a session start counted each three times: a fresh English project with one task, decision and plan measured 12,076 of its 12,000-token context budget (exit 1), and now measures 10,560. Minimal mode's paragraph no longer names context-routing.md, because minimal follows the paragraph directly and the budget loaded that document. The minimal budget is 2,200 tokens instead of 1,200, since minimal now carries the full protocol: a fresh English minimal project measured 4,148 and now 1,537.
e2e: 18 checks that pass on 1.36.188 were failing, unnoticed because the 2.9-hour suite had not been run in full. Each was bisected over 185 commits to its first failing commit. Thirteen followed intended changes and now assert the current behaviour: icon removal (1.36.237), rule observations (1.36.238), compact rules and delegation brief (1.36.255), legacy prose retention (1.36.262), setup-agents removal (1.36.280), and the checked-projection and lossless-archive refusals (1.36.191, 1.36.190): the migrate fixture is now a renderer-written projection, and the concurrent-drop fixture is created with decision add instead of hand-written JSON, which both refusals rejected before any race.
Test harness: the lock probe and the race harness now observe checked memory-output publication (a hard link, or PowerShell File.Replace on Windows) introduced in 1.36.190. Before, 8 of 11 lost-update races were never created and the lock invariant saw 16 of 41 state writes. Now all 11 pairs race and keep both records, and all 41 writes are observed under their locks.
